The second edition of In-Vento is due to be held in Riva del Garda from September 6th to 8th 2018. This international event is dedicated to wind generated electrical energy production including small wind turbines (mini and micro) and technological innovation in this sector.
The growing interest in the production of electrical energy from renewable
sources in the same place that the energy is then consumed, is resulting in the
search for increasingly innovative and adaptable solutions. In domestic, agricultural,
industrial and urban environments and, indeed, in any area exposed to the wind,
can the exploitation of wind energy fully respond to such a demand? By calling
upon experts, researchers and companies from all over Europe, In-Vento aims to reveal the
concrete possibilities for a small wind turbine. But it doesn't stop there.
The entire week will promote the culture of wind power exploitation, and this year will host the most prestigious European universities,
offering high level training courses and experimental workshops, aimed at freelancers and university students.
At In-Vento, innovation will be discussed (along with the second edition of the ideas contest - Design & Innovations) as well as technology (with prototypes, companies and products on show). Just like the previous edition, there will be an outdoor exhibition area with displays of small wind turbines in action, fuelled by the winds of Lake Garda, giving visitors the chance to re-charge their smart devices.
